You will need

150 g butter or margarine
3 1/2 dl wheat flour
1 1/2 dl almond flour
2 dl sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 dl Fava Mill Crunchy Granola
1 egg
1 dl cream (to be whipped)

Filling
1 pot (250 g) quark
1 egg
4 tbsp sugar
250 g fresh or frozen berries
2 tablespoons potato starch

Method

Melt the butter or margarine in a pan. Measure all dry ingredients – except for the granola – in a bowl and stir the melted fat into the mixture. Put ¼ of the dough into another bowl and stir the granola into the dough until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Mix the egg and whipping cream with the rest of the dough. Spread the dough evenly in a pie dish to form a base (diameter 28 cm).

Prepare the filling: first mix together the quark, egg and sugar. Mix the berries and potato starch together and spread on the dough. Add the quark mixture over the berries. Bake on the lower level of the oven, 200°C, for approx. 35 minutes. Allow the pie to cool before cutting.

Tip: Choose any seasonal fruits to use in this pie.
