Fava bean and apple crumble

serves 6

You will need

5 apples

2 teaspoons cinnamon


100 g butter or margarine

2 dl Fava Mill Ground Fava Beans

3 dl oat flakes

1½ dl soft brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar



Peel and slice the apples. Spread the apple slices into ramekins or in a larger pie dish and sprinkle with cinnamon. Stir slightly so that the cinnamon spreads evenly. Melt the fat in a pan. Take the pan off the heat and add the remaining crumble ingredients. Stir to make an even mixture. Sprinkle the crumble over the apple slices. Bake in the oven, 200°C, for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Tip: Adding crushed dark chocolate to the crumble gives a delicious addition to the dessert. You can also swap the apples for summer berries.
