Fava Bean Meatloaf

serves 6

You will need

2 1/2 dl Fava Mill Ground Fava Beans

1 1/2 dl cream, milk or water

1 onion

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 garlic clove

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon basil

1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper

1 egg

1 dl chopped sun-dried tomatoes

250 g minced meat



Stir the Ground Fava Beans and liquid in a bowl. Peel and chop the onion and garlic, sauté with oil in a pan until softened, and add to the bowl. Add the spices, egg, chopped sun-dried tomatoes and minced meet. Cover a one litre loaf tin with baking paper and press the loaf mixture firmly into the tin. Bake in the oven, 200°C, for 30 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before cutting.
