Herb Kebabs and Mint Tzatziki

serves 4

You will need

1 1/2 dl Fava Mill Ground Fava Beans

1 dl cream, milk or water

1 onion

1 tablespoon oil

pinch of salt and crushed black pepper

1 egg

250 g minced meat

100 g feta cheese

4 tablespoons shredded herbs, e.g. basil, mint, leaf parsley

Mint tzatziki:

1/2 cucumber

2 dl Turkish or Greek yoghurt

1 garlic clove

3 tablespoons chopped fresh mint

pinch of salt and crushed black pepper



Blend the Ground Fava Beans and liquid in a bowl. Peel and chop the onion and sauté in the oil. Add the onions, spices, egg and minced meat to the bowl, with crumbled feta cheese and chopped herbs. Blend the ingredients until you get a smooth mixture. Shape the mixture into kebabs with wet hands. Roast in the oven for 15 at 225°C.

Prepare the mint tzatziki:
Grate the cucumber and squeeze out most of the water with your hands. Add yoghurt, crushed garlic, chopped mint, spices and mix together. Allow to set for 20-30 minutes before serving.
